Be Careful Of Your Thoughts

Be Careful Of Your Thoughts

For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ. 2 Corinthians 10:3-5

God has all the instructions we need to learn about how to use our mind against the terror of Satan. Daily, we are bombarded by a multitude of thoughts. God tells us to bring every thought into captivity. You need to take control. How? You need to rest every thought against the revelation knowledge of God. If it doesn’t fit, you need to discard that thought immediately and replace it with an appropriate principle from God’s Word.
You cannot replace inappropriate thoughts with the correct principles unless you know God’s Word! You must realize that your mind is Satan’s battlefield, and he is constantly engaged in guerrilla warfare. Imagine that! No wonder you must take those thoughts captive and test them against God’s Word. You must get a tough as Satan. If those thoughts in the battlefield of your mind are evil or corrupt, you must throw them out.
One area we need to constantly renew our minds is our past. Satan loves to remind us of the things in our past that we want to forget because they can hinder our progress. However, God tell us to forget what is behind and move on to the glorious life He wants us to have each day. You need to take those thoughts captive and cast them out daily.
Are there any thoughts you need to take captive and cast out today?

Prayer: Father, I choose to keep my mind on Your glorious promises and I disregard Satan’s recounting of my past. Today I move on to enjoy the day without thoughts of the past or condemnation. I am victorious day!
